Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. ~ Philippians 4:8, NLT
Pure and lovely, how many of us fix our thoughts on things that are pure and lovely. I love these words, pure and lovely. I stride to be my father's daughter each day. I try to accept my faults and ask forgiveness. This is the true and most meaningful part of being a Christian. Forgiveness. Allowing myself to ask for and accept forgiveness, allows me to give forgiveness readily. I hold no grudge, and I keep no regrets. Paul and Timothy's words to the Philippians..... I love that these words and Jesus works stand the test of time. Proving he is always there, he always cares.
When the music fades
all is stripped away
and I simply come
longing just to bring
something that's of worth
that will bless your heart
I’ll bring you more than a song
for a song in itself
is not what you have required
you search much deeper within
through the way things appear
you're looking into my heart
I'm coming back to the heart of worship
and it's all about you
It's all about you, Jesus
I'm sorry Lord for the things I’ve made it
when it's all about you
it's all about you, Jesus
King of endless worth
no one could express
how much you deserve
though I’m weak and poor
all I have is yours
every single breath
all is stripped away
and I simply come
longing just to bring
something that's of worth
that will bless your heart
I’ll bring you more than a song
for a song in itself
is not what you have required
you search much deeper within
through the way things appear
you're looking into my heart
I'm coming back to the heart of worship
and it's all about you
It's all about you, Jesus
I'm sorry Lord for the things I’ve made it
when it's all about you
it's all about you, Jesus
King of endless worth
no one could express
how much you deserve
though I’m weak and poor
all I have is yours
every single breath
LOVE LOVE LOVE THAT SONG. Yes I was shouting. However, the version I've heard is from Chris Tomlin.
