The Next Chapter

Your Word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You. —Psalm 119:11

This Psalm screams to me, I hear you in my evening yesterday when my son exhausted my energy and patience. He was tired, whiny, crying about everything.  Yes, he is 7.  No he cannot be disrespectful, he cannot yell at me, he cannot shake my shoulders..... he cannot get away with his behavior.  Does he have a reason for his behavior? Yes is the behavior acceptable No...    I know I am not alone, I pulled patience out of my toes.  I have no idea where it came from.  But I laid down with my son, calmed him, loved him, and told him he was awesome without the crying and whining, God watches over all of us....His love will cover all, and continue to come.
