Unfailing love. How can it be unconditional, I am a sinner, I make the same mistakes over and over again. Today my son was answering a simple question with a defensive response. I want to stay calm and in my mind I am calm. But my words are sharp and loud. So again I start my day asking for forgiveness and humbling myself to my child asking for his forgiveness for my sharp words. As I continue my walk I often feel like I am caught between two people, myself and my former self.... I feel like I am growing and learning but standing still......trying to surrender without losing all control.
